Case Studies

Case Studies – Intelligent Bearing Monitoring (HCPsense)

01

Background

In August 2025, Sino-Cooperation Platform co-hosted the first Sino-German IoT Online Seminar on “New Approaches to Intelligent Bearing Monitoring”. HCPsense, a German startup specializing in impedance-based bearing monitoring, presented its technology to 27 Chinese companies, including three CEOs of publicly listed firms.

Technology Highlights

Precise Lubrication Monitoring

detection of boundary, mixed, and hydrodynamic lubrication states.

Extended Equipment Lifespan

prediction of remaining useful life and overload risks.

Reduced Maintenance Costs

optimized lubrication strategies and lower downtime.

Diverse Integration Options

adaptable contact and non-contact sensors for multiple industries.

Market Exchange

Chinese and German entrepreneurs discussed: The dialogue built trust and clarified practical implementation pathways for Chinese partners.

Lifecycle monitoring of bearings

Case Studies – Exoskeleton Technology (HUNIC SoftExo)

02

Background

On July 18, 2025, the Sino-Cooperation Platform co-organized the German-Chinese Seminar on Exoskeletons and Robot-Assisted Automation in Logistics at the Foshan China-Europe Center. The event attracted over 60 participants from manufacturing, logistics, and research institutions, focusing not only on presentations but also on hands-on testing of exoskeleton technology.

Technology Highlights

Passive Design

no motors, batteries, or electronics,

reducing complexity and eliminating issues

such as charging or overheating.

Lightweight & Practical

“wear-and-use” design adapts in real time to

body movement, balancing stability and comfort.

Patented BackSplint™ Technology

simulates dynamic spinal behavior, providing lumbar support and posture guidance during lifting and bending.

Proven Applications

already deployed in German manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare sectors.

Market Exchange & Trial Session

The seminar featured a live demonstration, with Sino-Cooperation’s founder wearing the SoftExo on stage, showcasing how it functions as a natural body extension.
HUNIC founder Jonas Mast shared the product’s origins in everyday physical labor, highlighting its “human-centered” design philosophy.
Participants had the chance to test the exoskeleton themselves, with technicians adjusting the devices for proper fit. Feedback emphasized reduced muscle strain, effective lower back support, and natural movement.

Results

60+ attendees participated in the seminar

20+ participants tested the exoskeleton on-site

5 units sold during the event

5 companies invited HUNIC for follow-up visits and in-depth cooperation discussions

This case is only one example of how we connect German innovation with real Chinese industry needs.
